This weeks Obey the Kitty is featuring SF’s own Eli Glad of Lights Down Low. The LDL crew threw some really great parties this summer, with some awesome talent and music. I am looking forward to hearing his set and seeing some friendly faces after the holidays!
Grab guestlist HERE or send me names.
Also next week we have Skeet Skeet on deck. LEHGO!
Came across this from the dudes over at Acid Stag when they tweeted about it a few nights ago. Follow them for a ton of awesome tunes and updates. A fresh new remix of Friendly Fires – Hurting by Tensnake. These are both artist’s whose work I enjoy very much and think the remix sounds great.
You may begin dancing at any time.
One of my favorite parties to play at is Everbody’s doing it with SF All-stars DJ Cams, Chris Clouse, and Sam Isaac. This party has been so packed and fun the last few times, and it just keeps getting better every time. There is an awesome dynamic between all of the DJ’s and hte mix of styles makes for a really cool night. With the holiday break upon us I expect alot of fresh new faces in town so come check it out.

Obey the Kitty this week features bay area favorite Richie Panic. This guys is one of my favorite local DJ’s and has mad skills behind the decks. As I mentioned in an earlier blog post he has put out a few real fresh remixes and DJ sets lately. I am excited to see what he has in store for us this week. I am lining up a few tables for friends and party goers so drop me a line for VIP treatment. Lets kick off the break with a bang!

San Francisco doesnt seem to disapoint. Its lookin like another amazing weekend in the city as far as music is concerned. Im excited about all the events. We have Crystal Method at the intimate and always crazy Vessel. Blind Pilot who is one of my Indie favorites. Blood Orange whose cult following has been steadily rising. They are playing at the Clift Hotel which should be an amazing intimate show. I am particularly excited about the free Alexander Spit show Sunday night because I have been playing his tunes non-stop the last few weeks. Top that all off with some great late night parties and you have yourself one hell of a weekend.

Lovin this remix of Niki & the Dove’s Mother Protect by Binary’s own Goldroom (Josh Legg). Niki and the Dove caught my attention back when Mylo surfaced with a remix of Gentle Roar. That jam sex-ed up my summer and now this one is hear to guide me through fall.
But dont take my word for it…
and the original in case you where wondering (“YOU CAN’T KEEP ME DOWN”)
Katy Perry did Saturday Night Live, and put on a stellar peformance, which included some boobs and more boobs. She wont win an award for this one but people seemd to enjoy the show.

This weeks Obey the Kitty comes with a fresh dose of local love. Myself and Rock-it Science label boss, and SF local Eric Sharp. Eric is best known for his production work for Rock-it Science as well as full calandar of club and underground events. Eric has shared the stage with the likes of Green Velvet, Neon Indian, Diplo and Afrika Bambaataa, while his tunes have turned up in sets by top international DJs such as Roy Davis Jr, Drop The Lime, Donald Glaude and Santiago & Bushido to name but a few. Needless to say I am looking forward to rockin the decks with this dude. RSVP for complimentary entry HERE
