gayngs at the independent
I saw the super-group Gayngs at the Independent last Tuesday night. I have liked this band ever since they started leaking snippets and rumors etc and actually never thought I would see them play live. They played at Coachella but since I missed 90 percent of the acts of course I didn’t catch them. Justin Vernon (Bon Iver) was a no-show. I’m guessing due to his new album dropping and 50% sold out tour. He was instead replaced by the always entertaining Har Mar Superstar. Har Mar was much less vulgar than the last time I saw him play with Neon Tress @ Rickshaw, but still very sexual and insinuating for his performance with Gayngs.
